Abdur Raqib ((アラビア語: عبد الرقيب )) is a male Muslim given name. It is built from the Arabic words ''Abd'', ''al-'' and ''Raqib''. The name means "servant of the observer", ''Ar-Raqīb'' being one of the Names of God in the Qur'an, which give rise to the Muslim theophoric names.〔 〕 The letter ''a'' of the ''al-'' is unstressed, and can be transliterated by almost any vowel, often by ''u''. Because the letter ''r'' is a sun letter, the letter ''l'' of the ''al-'' is assimilated to it. Thus although the name is written in Arabic with letters corresponding to ''Abd al-Raqib'', the usual pronunciation corresponds to ''Abd ar-Raqib''. Alternative transliterations include ''Abdul Raqeeb'' and others, all subject to variable spacing and hyphenation. The name may refer to *Abdur Raqib (cricketer) (born 1947), Pakistani cricketer *H Abdul Raqeeb, Indian businessman ==References== 〔 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Abdur Raqib」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
